About Us
Welcome to The Banded Bee, named after a bee which is native to Australia and found right here in our garden in Naracoorte, South Australia.
At The Banded Bee, we offer two types of services:
House Design & Drafting
The first and main service we offer is the design and drafting of house plans for new and established homes.
When Chris, our draftsman, meets with his clients, he listens to what they would like in their new home, paying attention to all the details, and then transfers this information to his drawings.
During his time as a salesperson for a building company, Chris found that his clients could not always visualise what a house will look like just by looking at the floor plan.
He decided, therefore, that during the planning and design stage, he will present his clients not only with a scaled floor plan but also provide 3D views of the whole house. By including furniture and specific colours his clients can get a better picture of their home, and movable space in each room.
Chris can also assist in arranging your Energy Rating (if required), soil report and slab engineering, truss & framing details which are all necessary documents required to get council approval.
Custom CNC Router & Laser Engraving
This service is aimed for people who would like to give a loved one that special, one of a kind gift.
Between Chris and Tess, they work together on a design based on their client’s requirements, and will then engrave it onto wood, acrylic or tiles.
For the engineers, we are also able to draw specific parts based on your requirements and then cut them out of aluminium with precision.
